Havre.io – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of havre.io (“we”, "us", “our”, or “the game”). By accessing or playing havre.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not play havre.io.

Havre.io is an online multiplayer experience that includes social features, gameplay data collection for moderation and anti-cheat purposes, and optional login via Discord OAuth or Discord Activities.

By playing havre.io, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must follow all applicable laws in your region to play havre.io.
If you use Discord OAuth or Discord Activities, you must meet Discord’s age and eligibility requirements.

You may choose to log in through Discord OAuth.
By doing so, you authorize us to access your Discord username, display name, and profile picture.
If logged in, you must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Users accessing the game through Discord Activities are automatically logged in via Discord.
By doing so, you authorize us to access your Discord username, display name, and profile picture.
You cannot log out while playing through an Activity.
When playing through an activity, you must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

2.3 Playing as a Guest

You may play without logging in, but certain features (social features, profile-based, party features, and some leaderboards) may require login.

The game includes social features for logged-in users (Discord OAuth or Discord Activities). Unless specified, these features are enabled for every logged-in player.

These include:

Showing your Discord profile picture, username, and display name to other players.
Allowing other players to send you friend requests (you may disable this)
Allowing friends to invite you to parties
If you add someone as a friend, they may see your online status and whether you are currently playing (you may disable this).

Public-facing information:

Your temporary in-game display name is visible to all players in your matches.
Messages you send in the public game chat are visible to all players in the match.
The leaderboards may display:
- Your temporary display name (at the time of the score)
- Your Discord profile info if you were logged in when the score was set

All interactions with other players must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. This also includes your in-game name.

4. User Conduct and Restrictions

4.1 Fair Play & Anti-Cheat

You agree that you will NOT:

Modify the game, inject code, or alter outputs for unfair advantage
Use cheats, hacks, scripts, bots, or automation tools
Automate gameplay, matchmaking, or the process of joining games (“botting”)
Run or control multiple instances simultaneously (“multiboxing”)
Manipulate network traffic or game communication
Attempt to bypass moderation or anti-cheat systems
Deliberately use exploits outside of normal gameplay

4.2 Behavior

You may not:

Use social features to promote illegal activity
Use hate speech, slurs, or harass other players
Use offensive or inappropriate profile pictures, usernames, or temporary names
Engage in harmful, threatening, or disruptive behavior.

4.3 Chat

Chat is available in parties and some gamemodes.
Everyone else in your match can see what you send in chat.
The chat will be moderated for slurs and other unacceptable language. Players can get chat-banned for breaking those rules.

5. Enforcement

We reserve the right to take action at our discretion, including:

Warning a player
Restricting features
Temporary or permanent bans
Removing scores or leaderboard entries
Any other action needed to protect fairness, security, or community standards

Actions may be taken for:

Cheating or attempted cheating
Botting or automation
Unacceptable names or profile pictures
Unacceptable chat messages
Violations of Discord policies
Any behavior harmful to the game or its community

We are not required to provide justification or explanation for enforcement actions.

6. Availability and Updates

The game may experience downtime, errors, or interruptions.
We may update, change, or remove features at any time.
We may modify or discontinue the game without notice.

You agree we are not liable for any loss caused by outages or changes.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The game is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We are not responsible for loss of data, gameplay progress, access, or account information.
We are not liable for damages arising from gameplay, online interactions, or user-generated content.

Your use of the game is at your own risk.

8. Privacy

A separate Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how it is used.
